With so much pressure on teachers to achieve ever-increasing targets there is little time to teach students how to study properly. We have created a short course that is designed to help any student learn how to study efficiently.

We can help young people prepare for their Standard Grades and Highers. We also offer support to adults who are returning to study after sometime and could use help to get back to studying again.

The course will work through the following skills:

	Getting the most out of reading for pleasure
	Reading for courses (especially Standard Grade and Higher English)
	How to write an essay
	How to take notes
	Planning your time
	Knowing your strengths and challenges
	Getting organised
	Getting ready for exams and memory techniques

	Improving your vocabulary
