Many people think that, because they can produce a reasonable singing sound, there is no need to train the voice at all. This is not true. No matter the style of singing you use, be it hard rock or opera, the voice should be properly trained to handle the job required. The larynx is a delicate instrument and forcing the vocal chords can cause serious problems and sometimes, irreparable damage.

A good teacher needs to know the anatomy of the body, how the various muscles of the vocal system work. Many of the muscles involved are very small and delicate and sometimes the adjustment of the muscle is minute but this will make the difference between a good or bad technique. We believe that proper attention to the development of the vocal system is imperative, especially in younger students.

The teamwork of a professional, enthusiastic coach and an equally enthusiastic student who share the excitement of an ever-evolving individual sound is the ideal relationship for developing the voice of a singer who wants to sing for life and not just for a few years.

We will use highly recommended modern vocal techniques to:

Develop your Range
Develop your Resonance & Colour
Develop your Articulation
